In case you’re still doubtful, Christy Karacas confirmed season 4 on East Village Radio :). David Wain’s tweet kind of let the cat out of the bag, and they weren’t sure if they could announce it before that. It’s been greenlit for a little while now.
Storyboarding for the first episode starts in two weeks, and they’ve been doing the radioplay for it at present. Dana Snyder has given the recording session a brief shout-out on his Twitter.

Ever since I’ve heard the news that there’s gonna be a 4th season of Superjail, and ever since Superjail debuted in 2007. I’ve had somewhat of a crush on the Warden so I thought to myself I should make a motivational Poster of him so here it is.
Here’s quite an epic press release from Adult Swim, announcing its 2013/2014 slate of new and returning programming in advance of its annual Upfront event in New York on May 15, which will feature a scheduled performance by Kanye West.
Superjail! confirmed in the returning shows.
But there’s a lot of programming information that may be of interest to anyone who’s a regular watcher of [AS]. Few notes:
- Venture Brothers season 5 comes in June.
- While Metalocalypse’s next season has yet to be confirmed, a special will air in October.
- No word on Black Dynamite season 2’s release yet, or season 4 of Boondocks, or China IL season 2. Keep staying tuned.
- ATHF gets another name change for its next season.
Seems this is the Adult Swim listing that caused more confusion for fans about the premiere date/episode.
We all like SuperJail. Why not expand the fandom with the casts’ lovely facial expressions?…

Season 3 and 3 episode orders
Usually for shows, there are at least two orders for listing episodes: production and broadcast.
In some cases the production order is the more “correct” one, depending on the way said show was made. However, the broadcast order may also be the more correct way to view episodes for some series, barring any cases of episodes placed out of order by network meddling or other circumstances. There are also cases where episodes are postponed or produced earlier/later than originally intended, if production allows for such lenience. So episode codes might change.
For season 3, Adult Swim created a little confusion with some mistakes in their 3 advertising and scheduling. This leaves fans with not two, but three separate possible viewing orders by the network. It appears the third may be possibly based off of what order the episodes’ scripts were initially written, but please don’t quote this writer on that. The last listed order is retained in a few schedules and websites.
